Surval is unrivalled in its stunning lakeside location: perched high on the hill above Montreux on the famous Swiss Riveria, we are privileged to be in a position where, in winter, we can jump on our doorstep train to Rochers de Naye for some local powder runs through the trees, or, in less than an hour, be skiing the slopes of Villars or Verbier; and in summer, we are within walking distance of Montreux’s famous Quai de Fleurs, the beautiful flower-lined pathway beside Lake Geneva’s aquamarine waters, along which those who seek to discover Swiss culture have been taking their daily promenade since the days of the Grand Tour. Currently, our Winter Camp students are discovering the many joys of winter in the Alps; however, now is also the time to secure a place for an idyllic, adventured-filled, never-to-be-forgotten summer in Switzerland at our hugely popular Surval Summer Camps. Be warned though – six weeks might not be enough: Violeta came for our Summer Camp 2018 and loved it so much she came back for the following school year!
So what makes Surval Summer Camp so special? As Violeta puts it, “There are so many things to say!” We give our campers the opportunity to learn and play in a warm and welcoming all-girl international environment, in a safe and beautiful setting. Weekday mornings will be spent learning a new language in sunlit classrooms overlooking the sparkling Lake Geneva, before unforgettable afternoons spent water-skiing, banana-boating or SUPing on those same turquoise waters; or journeying deeper in the Alps for the thrills of canyoning, rafting or kayaking in picturesque Chateau d’Oex. Our afternoon workshops aim to foster a range of talents, from the creative arts to the athletic; and our weekend and day-trips will give you the chance to discover more of Switzerland, and even further afield. Those with dramatic or musical flair will have the chance to shine in the spotlight at one of our talent shows, and aspiring artists, writers or photographers will have the opportunity to have their work featured on our student blog.
