A Unique Swiss Summer Experience
Surval’s location in beautiful Montreux, overlooking Lac Léman and the Alps, provides the perfect backdrop for a summer of exploration and growth. Campers join for between two and six weeks from late June to early August, with three age groups ensuring activities are age-appropriate and engaging:
- Minis: 9–11 years
- Juniors: 12–15 years
- Seniors: 16–18 years

Living the Language
Mornings are dedicated to language learning in small classes of 8–12 students, choosing between intensive French or intensive English. Lessons are interactive and dynamic, using role play, music, films, and games alongside more formal teaching.
Languages are brought to life through daily interactions, local excursions, and cultural activities — helping girls to build confidence in real-world settings. For those seeking extra support, private language lessons are available on request.
Fun and Adventure Every Day
Afternoons and weekends are packed with opportunities to try something new, challenge yourself, and enjoy Switzerland’s natural beauty.
Activities include:
- Water sports: Sailing, paddleboarding, wakeboarding, rafting, waterskiing, swimming
- Sports: Hiking, cycling, climbing, tennis, dance, yoga, bubble football
- Recreational: Bowling, laser tag, rope park, water park, go-karting
- Creative and cultural: Cooking, baking, etiquette, arts and crafts, drama
Trips and Excursions Across Europe
Campers explore some of Switzerland’s most famous destinations, such as the Château de Chillon, Gruyère cheese factory, and Cailler chocolate factory. Overnight trips may include Europa Park in Germany or Disneyland Paris in France.
In July, campers can also enjoy the world-renowned Montreux Jazz Festival, along with other summer events in the town.
A Home Away From Home
Campers live in comfortable shared rooms (two to four girls) with en-suite bathrooms and balconies overlooking the mountains or lake. Rooming is carefully arranged by age and nationality to encourage cultural exchange, and our experienced staff are on hand 24/7 to ensure each girl feels safe, supported, and included.
Meals are freshly prepared on site, with healthy and varied options including vegetarian and special diets.
